Punjab CBD concludes another successful auction

Published on: December 25, 2025 2:41 AM

The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), also known as Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab), has demonstrated strong investor confidence by successfully conducting another high-value commercial auction in Lahore Downtown. The auction of a 4.56-kanal mixed-use commercial plot marks yet another milestone in CBD Punjab’s ongoing efforts to accelerate economic growth and promote planned urban development in Punjab.

The auction was conducted in a transparent and competitive manner, attracting participation from the private sector. The process was chaired by Chief Operating Officer CBD Punjab, Brigadier (R) Mansoor Janjua, ensuring strict adherence to merit and regulatory standards.

Following a transparent process, Atlas Engineering Private Limited emerged as the highest bidder, securing the premium plot at a rate of Rs 301 million per kanal, reflecting growing commercial value and strategic importance of Lahore Downtown as a prime investment destination in CBD Punjab. The successful bid underscores the private sector’s trust in CBD Punjab’s vision, planning standards and delivery capacity.

Speaking on the occasion, COO CBD Punjab Brigadier (R) Mansoor Janjua said, “The consistent success of CBD Punjab’s auctions reflects robust investor confidence in our master-planned developments. These transparent auctions are not only unlocking the true commercial potential of Lahore Downtown but are also contributing directly to Punjab’s economic growth, job creation and sustainable urban expansion.”.

These auctions are part of CBD Punjab’s broader vision to develop Lahore Downtown into a modern, high-density, mixed-use commercial hub. Proceeds are reinvested into infrastructure, mobility, and public realm improvements, further strengthening CBD Punjab’s role as a catalyst for sustainable urban and economic transformation in Punjab.
