Russian drones damage energy, homes in Odesa

Russian drones struck southern Ukraine’s Odesa region overnight, damaging energy, gas, and residential infrastructure. Authorities reported one person injured. The attack also hit a critical infrastructure facility, officials said.

Odesa Governor Oleh Kiper confirmed the assault via Telegram. He said a multi-storey residential building suffered facade damage, broken windows, and affected vehicles nearby. Residents were alarmed, and emergency teams quickly responded to assess the damage.

The strike targeted energy and gas facilities, raising concerns about potential disruptions in utilities. Officials did not disclose detailed information about the critical infrastructure facility impacted.

Authorities are investigating the attack to determine the full extent of damage. Repair crews are mobilizing to restore energy services and secure affected areas. Local residents were advised to stay cautious while emergency measures continue.
