“In future, technological manoeuvres will replace physical manoeuvres and fundamentally alter offensive and defensive operations,” CDF Munir said. He added that the army is rapidly adopting innovation, indigenisation, and adaptation to keep pace with evolving warfare, while reaffirming that Pakistan’s armed forces remain fully prepared to defend sovereignty and territorial integrity against all threats.
During his visit, Field Marshal Munir was briefed on operational, training, and administrative matters, with special attention to multi-domain warfare preparations. He laid a floral wreath at the Martyrs’ Monument and paid tribute to fallen soldiers, and inaugurated the “ROHI eSkills Learning Hub” and APS Abbasia Campus, highlighting the army’s commitment to digital skills, education, and character building.
The CDF also visited the EME Regional Workshop, which oversees maintenance and technological sustainment of modern platforms. In August 2025, the Army Rocket Force Command was established, and the army conducted a successful training launch of the Fatah-4 cruise missile in September.
