Pakistan will support Saudi Arabia “no matter what, no matter when,” Prime Minister’s spokesperson said Wednesday. The statement comes as tensions rise in the Middle East after US-Israeli strikes on Iran. The remarks highlight Islamabad’s commitment to Riyadh amid growing regional uncertainty.
In an interview with Bloomberg TV, Prime Minister’s spokesperson for foreign media Mosharraf Zaidi said Pakistan would aid Saudi Arabia even before support becomes necessary. He stressed that the relationship between both countries has always been based on mutual support. According to him, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia act for each other without hesitation.

Zaidi added that the real priority for Pakistan is preventing further escalation in the Middle East conflict. He said Islamabad remains in contact with leadership in both Saudi Arabia and Iran. He also mentioned recent diplomatic engagement by Pakistan’s leadership with global partners.
The spokesperson recalled the recent visit of Asim Munir to Saudi Arabia for discussions on the regional situation. He noted that Gulf countries have so far resisted pressure to join the ongoing conflict. Pakistan, he said, supports efforts to avoid broader regional instability.
