The Pakistan Armed Forces continue decisive operations against Afghan Taliban and Fitanah al-Khawarij elements.
According to security sources, the military carried out a major operation in the Bajaur sector, targeting Afghan Taliban posts near the Pakistan-Afghanistan border, destroying them completely.
Sources confirmed that the Pakistan Army also employed guided missiles to strike Taliban positions along the border.

Security officials stated that Operation Ghazab Lil-Haq will continue until all objectives are achieved.
It may be recalled that the security forces conducted an intelligence-driven operation in Lakki Marwat a day earlier, killing five militants linked to the India-backed group Fitna-e-Hindustan.
An ISPR statement said the operation targeted terrorists whose presence had been reported in the area.
Officials confirmed that the slain militants were involved in multiple terrorist activities in the region, and a large cache of weapons and ammunition was recovered from their hideouts.
Separately, at least two individuals in separate suspected militant-related incidents were abducted and later killed in KP’s Bannu district, sources said.
In the first incident, which occurred in Bannu’s Domel tehsil, armed men abducted a well-known figure identified as Malik Nabiullah along with three other people, who were later released.
However, Nabiullah was taken to an unknown location and shot dead. His body was later recovered from the area, sources said.
Meanwhile, in Bannu’s Bakakhel area near the Tochi Bridge, armed men abducted a young man, identified as Shazeb Khan, from his village late on Sunday. He was later killed, with his body left along the roadside.
Investigation was underway in both cases, according to sources.
Elsewhere in Bannu, a suspected militant attack on the Fatah Khel police post was thwarted, police sources said.
According to police sources, officers detected suspicious movement via thermal cameras, after which they immediately opened fire. The militants fled the scene following the retaliatory firing.
Police officials stated that the vigilance and timely response of the personnel prevented a potentially major attack.
The Bannu district has been the scene of repeated security incidents in recent months, with both civilians and local security actors coming under attack, prompting targeted operations.
Moreover, a terrorist attack on a police post in the jurisdiction of Nasir Bagh Police Station on Monday was foiled after security personnel responded promptly.
According to police, terrorists attempted to target the Sakhi Pul police post taking the cover of darkness. However, the personnel deployed at the post retaliated immediately and effectively, forcing the attackers to flee the scene. No casualties were reported.
Following the attack, security forces cordoned off the area and launched a large-scale search operation to trace the fleeing suspects.
Police across the city have been put on high alert, and security has been further tightened to prevent any untoward incident.
Police authorities said all available resources were being utilized to maintain law and order and bring the attackers to justice.
