Israeli strike kills 15 Hezbollah members

Published on: April 3, 2026 3:44 PM

An Israeli airstrike killed 15 Hezbollah members in southern Lebanon, according to the Israeli military. The operation targeted individuals allegedly planning an anti-tank missile attack. The development raises tensions along the Israel-Lebanon border.

Military spokesperson Avichay Adraee said Israel’s 146th Division identified the group before launching the strike. He stated that forces acted to prevent an imminent attack against Israeli territory. The air operation followed surveillance that confirmed the suspected threat.

According to the Israeli military, the targeted individuals were preparing to fire anti-tank missiles. Officials said the strike successfully neutralized the threat. However, independent verification of these claims remains unavailable.

The military also reported seizing several weapons after the strike. These included rifles and hand grenades recovered from the site. Authorities said the findings supported their claim about the planned attack.

Hezbollah has not yet confirmed the casualties or responded to the Israeli statement. The lack of immediate response leaves key details unclear. Further developments are expected as the situation unfolds.
