According to a joint statement issued by the foreign ministries of 11 countries, including Pakistan, Türkiye, Brazil, Jordan, Spain, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Colombia, Maldives, South Africa, Libya, and others, Israeli naval forces targeted vessels participating in the Spring 2026 Global Sumud Flotilla mission. The flotilla was reportedly aiming to challenge the blockade on Gaza and deliver essential humanitarian supplies.
