Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Iran’s missile and launcher stockpiles have increased significantly compared to levels before February 28. He claimed that Iran’s defensive readiness has risen sharply despite ongoing regional tensions and military pressure. His remarks were shared in a social media statement.
Araghchi said Iran has not weakened under external pressure and continues to strengthen its defense capabilities. He added that any diplomatic opportunity is often followed by what he described as military escalation from the United States. According to him, Iran will not accept pressure-based negotiations.

He further questioned the motivations behind continued military actions, suggesting they reflect attempts to drag the region into deeper conflict. Araghchi said the Iranian nation does not yield to pressure and remains committed to its defensive strategy. His statement emphasized resilience in the face of escalating tensions.
The Iranian foreign minister also referred to recent regional military incidents involving missiles and drones. He claimed some projectiles were intercepted by regional air defenses, while minor injuries were reported. These claims could not be independently verified at the time of reporting.
