Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif appreciated the ministry’s efforts in implementing reforms and advancing important public health programmes. He particularly commended initiatives aimed at combating infectious and life-threatening diseases, including polio and hepatitis, which remain major public health challenges in Pakistan.
The discussion also covered measures being taken to improve healthcare delivery, enhance disease prevention programmes and strengthen the overall health system.
