Gold prices decline by Rs 1,469 per tola

The prices of gold decreased in the local market on Friday, with 24 karat gold per tola falling by Rs 1,469 to settle at Rs 467,816 compared to Rs 469,285 on the previous trading day, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24 karat gold decreased by Rs 1,323 to Rs 401,012 from Rs 402,335, whereas 10 grams of 22 karat gold went down by Rs 1,197 to Rs 367,624 against Rs 368,821. In the international market, the price of gold decreased by $14.689 to $4,453.810 per ounce from $4,468.499. Meanwhile, the price of silver per tola decreased by Rs 67 to Rs 7,730 from Rs 7,797, while the price of 10 grams of silver declined by Rs 61 to Rs 6,623 from Rs 6,684. The price of silver in the international market also decreased by $0.669 to $72.520 per ounce from $73.189.
