Legendary boxer Muhammad Ali’s 10th death anniversary observed

Guard Group of Companies on Friday observed the 10th death anniversary of legendary boxer and global humanitarian Muhammad Ali, paying tribute to his extraordinary achievements in sports and his enduring contributions to humanity.

Guard Group Chairman Iftikhar Ali Malik said Muhammad Ali was far more than a sporting icon, as he inspired millions across the world through his courage, faith, humility and unwavering commitment to justice, equality and human dignity. He said Muhammad Ali’s remarkable accomplishments in professional boxing, coupled with his principled stand on social and humanitarian issues, earned him global respect and made him one of the most influential personalities of the modern era.

Paying tribute to the late champion, he said Muhammad Ali’s life remained a shining example of perseverance, determination and service to mankind. His words and actions, he added, continue to motivate younger generations to strive for excellence while upholding the values of integrity, compassion and respect for humanity.

He also recalled with pride the memorable occasion when Guard Group had the honour of hosting a grand reception in Muhammad Ali’s honour during his visit to Lahore. He said the event remained a cherished chapter in the company’s history and reflected the deep affection and admiration the people of Pakistan held for the legendary boxer.

Iftikhar Ali Malik prayed for the eternal peace of Muhammad Ali and reaffirmed the company’s commitment to preserving and promoting the inspiring legacy of the late boxing great.
