Veteran Bollywood actor Suniel Shetty has praised his longtime co-star Akshay Kumar for his energetic personality and sense of humour, saying that mischief seems to be part of Akshay’s natural character.

In a recent interview with Indian media, Suniel Shetty spoke about Akshay Kumar’s playful behaviour on and off set, describing him as someone who consistently brings a light-hearted and humorous touch to his performances.

He remarked that Akshay’s fun-loving attitude appears to be “in his DNA,” adding that the actor’s personality has remained unchanged over the years. According to Shetty, Akshay often tries to add something different to every scene he performs, whether it involves acting or action sequences, by incorporating elements of comedy and spontaneity.

Suniel Shetty also highlighted that this natural comedic timing and improvisational style is what makes Akshay Kumar stand out in the industry. He noted that the actor’s ability to blend humour with intense roles contributes significantly to his popularity among audiences.

During the interview, Shetty further appreciated the comic timing and easy-going nature of other Bollywood stars, including Govinda and Salman Khan, saying that he is often impressed by their effortless humour and screen presence.

Suniel Shetty and Akshay Kumar are set to appear together in the upcoming film Welcome to the Jungle, which is scheduled for release on June 26. The movie features a large ensemble cast including several prominent actors from the Indian film industry.

The film is expected to continue the popular Welcome franchise, known for its comedy-driven storyline and star-studded performances. Fans are eagerly awaiting the release, particularly the reunion of Akshay Kumar and Suniel Shetty on screen after several years.

Industry observers believe the film’s ensemble cast and comedic theme could make it one of the notable Bollywood releases of the season.
