The Motorway Police has launched a nationwide fire safety awareness campaign to enhance the protection of passengers, drivers, and their property. Under the campaign, stricter safety measures will be implemented on national highways and motorways across the country. The fire safety awareness campaign aims to reduce the risk of vehicle fires and improve emergency preparedness.

According to a spokesperson for the Motorway Police, authorities have decided to strengthen safety regulations as part of the nationwide initiative. The campaign will focus on educating transport operators and motorists about the importance of fire prevention and emergency response.

As part of the new measures, carrying fire extinguishers in passenger and cargo vehicles has been made mandatory. Officials said that all vehicles must be equipped with functional and properly maintained fire extinguishing equipment to ensure safety during emergencies.

The Motorway Police spokesperson emphasized that vehicle owners and transport companies should ensure compliance with the new requirements. Authorities will inspect vehicles to verify that fire extinguishers are present and in working condition.

The nationwide campaign will continue until June 24, after which strict action will be taken against violators. Officials said the fire safety awareness campaign is intended to promote safer travel conditions and minimize the dangers associated with vehicle fires on highways and motorways.
