Rupee almost remains stable against dollar

The Rupee on Friday appreciated by 03 paisa against the US Dollar in interbank trading and closed at Rs 278.22 compared to the previous day’s closing of Rs 278.25. According to the Forex Association of Pakistan (FAP), the buying and selling rates of the dollar in the open market were recorded at Rs 279.00 and Rs 279.25, respectively. The price of the Euro against the rupee decreased by Rs 0.30 and closed at Rs 318.43 from the previous day’s closing of Rs 318.73, according to the State Bank of Pakistan (SBP). The Japanese Yen remained constant at Rs 1.72, whereas the exchange rate of the British Pound witnessed a decrease of Rs 0.38 and closed at Rs 367.04 compared to the previous day’s Rs 367.42. The exchange rates of the Emirate Dirham remained constant at Rs.75.75, whereas it declined by Rs0.2 for Saudi Riyal which closed at Rs 74.13.
