Spokesperson for the Sindh Government, Syeda Tehseen Abidi, today reviewed public complaints, applications, and suggestions received from various districts while presiding over a session at the Chief Minister House Complaint Cell. On the occasion, she established immediate coordination with the relevant departments and institutions and issued necessary directives to ensure the prompt and effective resolution of public grievances. Syeda Tehseen Abidi stated that the Chief Minister House Complaint Cell is a practical manifestation of the Sindh Government’s people-centric policies, where citizens’ complaints are heard on a priority basis and immediate measures are taken to provide timely relief.She said that, under the special directives of Chief Minister Sindh Syed Murad Ali Shah, the prompt resolution of public complaints has been made one of the government’s highest priorities to ensure that citizens receive relief without unnecessary delay and to further enhance the performance of public institutions. She further stated that, in line with the people-first vision of Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and the philosophy of public service championed by Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto, the Sindh Government is taking comprehensive measures to promote transparency, accountability, public service, and good governance.
Syeda Tehseen Abidi added that, in accordance with the Chief Minister’s directives, listening to every citizen, addressing their concerns on a priority basis, and ensuring the accountability of public institutions are fundamental responsibilities of the government. She noted that the Chief Minister House Complaint Cell is a practical embodiment of this public-oriented vision, where complaints are promptly forwarded to the relevant departments and their resolution is continuously monitored. She said that the concerned authorities remain fully active in addressing complaints related to healthcare, education, municipal services, sanitation, drainage, clean drinking water, electricity, and other essential public services to ensure timely and effective relief for citizens.
She emphasized that the Sindh Government remains firmly committed to the principles of public service, transparency, merit, and public trust. She further made it clear that negligence or unnecessary delays in resolving public complaints will not be tolerated, and all relevant departments have been directed to treat the prompt resolution of citizens’ issues as their foremost priority. Concluding her statement, Syeda Tehseen Abidi appealed to the public to register their complaints, issues, and suggestions with the Chief Minister House Complaint Cell so that their timely resolution can be ensured and the relationship of trust, communication, and cooperation between the government and the people can be further strengthened.
