Punjab minister rejects Niazi’s controversial statement

Punjab Information Minister Azma Bukhari has condemned controversial remarks by Noreen Niazi regarding the Pakistan Army and Marka-e-Haq. Bukhari said the statement reflected the views of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf founder Imran Khan. The remarks have triggered political reactions in Pakistan.

In a statement, Bukhari said Noreen Niazi’s comments were linked to her brother’s political stance. She alleged that the family criticized Pakistan’s achievements and military successes. Bukhari also rejected the claims made about Marka-e-Haq.

Bukhari said Pakistan’s armed forces and air force achieved significant success during Marka-e-Haq. She added that the nation remained proud of the military’s performance. The minister criticized comments supporting Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Meanwhile, Noreen Niazi had made remarks about Marka-e-Haq and the Pakistan Army during an interview. She claimed the event involved coordination between Pakistan’s military and Modi. Her statement drew criticism from government figures.

The controversy has added to ongoing political tensions between the government and PTI supporters. Statements about national security issues continue to generate debate among political groups. Both sides have presented opposing views on the matter.
