In reply, Maryam Aurangzeb released a series of videos on social media showing roads, streets and sanitation work in the same cities mentioned by Bilawal. She said the footage reflected the current condition of urban infrastructure and municipal services, countering the claims made during the political gathering.
The videos included scenes from Vehari and Kasur, where Bilawal had questioned the state of development and civic management. According to the provincial minister, the visuals demonstrate that cleanliness campaigns and road improvement projects are continuing across multiple districts under the Punjab government’s supervision.
Maryam Aurangzeb maintained that the Punjab government remains committed to improving public services and municipal infrastructure in cities across the province. She said development work is being carried out in both major urban centres and smaller districts to enhance civic facilities for residents.
