Zayn Malik is thankful to meet Gigi Hadid

Published on: June 19, 2018 1:14 PM

Zayn Malik, who is a British Pop star says that he is thankful he met his ex-girlfriend, Gigi Hadid during split rumors. Zayn refers to them as ‘We’.

The singer talked about the memories that he shared with Gigi. He talked about how they once went for horse riding together. He said, “I looked like a complete idiot and she looked like a complete professional.” He continued, “We’re still really good friends, and we’re still in contact,”

She talked about how her lady love made her look at the positive side of everything. He said, “We’re adults. We don’t need to put a label on it, make it something for people’s expectations. I had a very negative outlook on things. That might have been adolescence or testosterone or whatever was running through my body at the time,” he said. “She’s helped me to look at things from a positive angle.”

The 25 year old British singer is amazed by the love he got from America. He says that he feels welcomed by the citizens and he is considering running his office in America. He also said that America is being misperceived globally.

“No matter what color, what gender, what sexuality, what class – none of that matters here. People genuinely want to know you for who you are. And that’s how America should be represented across the world,” said Malik.

Zayn was initially a part of a group called One-Direction. He left the group because he thought he is unable to work well in group situations. “I don’t work well in group situations, with loads of people staring at me. And when you say ‘star’…everyone wants you to be this kind of character that owns a room or is overly arrogant or confident. I’m not that guy,so I don’t want to be a star.” said the 25 year old.

Zayn Malik partially belongs to a Muslim family and he came to the USA when Trump had called a ban on Muslims from entering the country.

The young singer said that Americans are “expressing how they really feel about where they come from and their heritage and their backgrounds.”

“So that’s how I feel about it – it’s a beautiful place, and it’s a beautiful time to be alive.”
