An Accountability Court (AC) Friday testified another witness in Nandipur Power Project reference against former prime minister Raja Pevaiz Asharaf and former law minister Dr Baber Awan, and adjourned the hearing till April 17.
The court summed third witness of National Accountability Burea (NAB) Shahid Ali on the next date of hearing to record his statement.
Earlier, NAB’s witness Syed Abid Ahmed, section officer of ministry of water and power, informed the court that the ministry had sent a summary for cabinet approval regarding the execution of Nandipur Power project.
During the course of proceedings, Dr Baber Awan also appeared before the court. However, Pervaiz Asharaf didn’t attend the proceeding due to exemption from hearing.
