Labour Day

Published on: May 4, 2019 10:10 PM

Sir: Labour Day is celebrated on May 1st with a holiday. This day was first celebrated in 1894 paying tribute to US labourers’ movement.

This day is appreciating the labourer’s work that he does for stability of prosperity, peace and well-being of the country. Various programs are conducted for considerations of labours.

Likewise, the ILO holds different events to mark this day. Keeping in sight the dignity of labourers, I request the government and other authorities to mark this day by arranging some supportive for well-being of labourers who one way or other attribute in progress stabilities of the country. I personally advice our readers to ensure solid steps of dedications towards labourers, making them feel their worth in development if society.
