Faisal Rehman jokes about meeting Quaid-e-Azam at age 10, claims he’s 88

Published on: May 20, 2025 6:12 PM

Veteran Pakistani actor Faisal Rehman once again made headlines with his humorous claim that he met the founder of Pakistan, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, when he was just 10 years old. Speaking recently on ARY News, the actor playfully insisted that during the time of Partition in 1947, he was already 10 years old. He joked that online sources, including Wikipedia, had incorrectly listed his birth year as 1966.

This isn’t the first time Faisal has made the claim. In April, during another TV show, he mentioned meeting Quaid-e-Azam as a child but couldn’t recall his exact age. Now, he’s doubled down on the story—while laughing and clearly enjoying the reactions.

During the program, Faisal smiled as he said that people didn’t believe his age when he first shared it on television. When host Waseem Badami calculated his age to be around 88, Faisal responded with a playful “Alhamdulillah!”

Adding to the lighthearted tone, Faisal shared his secret to staying healthy and youthful: eat good food, exercise, and avoid marriage. He quipped that marriage isn’t the secret to a long life and claimed life tends to go downhill after tying the knot.

His humorous remarks sparked laughter from fellow comedians and guests on the show, making the segment both entertaining and memorable for viewers.
