Iran launches 15th wave of missile and drone strikes on Israel

Published on: June 19, 2025 11:03 PM

Iran has launched another round of missile and drone attacks on Israel under its ongoing counter-offensive operation, “Wa’ad-e-Sadiq 3” (True Promise 3). According to Tehran Times, this marks the 15th wave of retaliation in response to Israel’s continued military aggression.

The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) confirmed that coordinated missile and suicide drone strikes targeted military and defense industry sites in Haifa and Tel Aviv. These areas are considered key zones of Israeli military infrastructure.

Over 100 drones, including attack and suicide types, were launched in this latest strike. Iranian officials stated that the main focus of this wave was Israel’s missile defense systems located in the two cities. The attack is reportedly part of a broader strategy aimed at weakening Israel’s defensive and industrial military capabilities.

Tensions remain dangerously high, as Israeli forces continue to strike Iranian cities. Iranian civilians are increasingly at risk, especially in border and industrial regions. The Iranian Ministry of Health reports that at least 224 civilians have been killed in Israeli strikes so far.

Both nations appear locked in a dangerous cycle of escalation. With civilian casualties rising and advanced weaponry in use on both sides, international calls for restraint and diplomatic solutions are growing more urgent by the hour.
