Maryam Nawaz congratulates Pakistani students on INSO-2025 medal wins

Published on: August 6, 2025 2:09 PM

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz extended her heartfelt congratulations to the young students of Pakistan who earned gold, silver, and bronze medals at INSO-2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. She praised their hard work and talent, stating that their success brought pride to the entire nation and showed the true potential of Pakistani youth on international scientific platforms.

The 2nd International Nuclear Science Olympiad (INSO-2025) gathered participants from 19 countries, including major nations like China, Japan, and Türkiye. Despite tough competition, the Pakistani students impressed the judges with their deep knowledge and problem-solving skills in the field of nuclear science. Their achievements are being seen as a major step forward for science education in Pakistan.

Among the winners, Muhammad Tayyab Bukhari from Beaconhouse School Abbottabad earned the gold medal, showcasing excellent command over the subject. Meanwhile, Ammar Asad Warraich of Siddique Public School Islamabad proudly secured the silver medal, reflecting his strong dedication and preparation.

Additionally, two bronze medals were awarded to Rawah Javed from Siddique Public School and Tatheer Aima Naqvi from Chenab College Jhang. Their accomplishments further strengthened Pakistan’s position in global science competitions and served as inspiration for students nationwide.

Behind their success stood strong mentorship from Dr. Sajjad Tahir of PIEAS and Dr. Muhammad Maqsood from the Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission. Their guidance and support played a vital role in preparing the team for such a competitive global event, proving the value of expert mentorship in education.

This historic achievement not only reflects the students’ brilliance but also highlights Pakistan’s growing potential in nuclear science. With continued government support and focused educational reforms, such global recognitions can become a regular occurrence for the country.
