Pakistan thrash Afghanistan by 75 runs as Nawaz steals the show

In the Tri-Nation T20 series final, Pakistan defeated Afghanistan by 75 runs thanks to Muhammad Nawaz’s destructive bowling. The match took place in Sharjah, where Pakistan won the toss and chose to bat first. Pakistan scored 141 runs for eight wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Fakhar Zaman scored 27, Muhammad Nawaz made 25, and Salman Agha added 24 runs. Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan took three wickets, while Noor Ahmed and Fazal Haq Farooqi claimed two each.

Chasing a target of 142, Afghanistan struggled against Nawaz’s fierce bowling and were all out for 66 runs in 15.5 overs. Nawaz not only took a hat-trick but also bowled excellently, conceding just 19 runs while taking five wickets in four overs. He completed his hat-trick across two overs, dismissing batsmen on the fifth and sixth balls of the sixth over and the first ball of the eighth over.

Besides Nawaz, Sufiyan Muqeem and Muhammad Abrar took two wickets each, while Shaheen Afridi claimed one. Afghanistan’s captain Rashid Khan was the top scorer for his team with 17 runs. Nawaz’s performance proved to be the game-changer in the final.

The win secured Pakistan the championship in the three-team T20 series. Nawaz’s bowling effort was widely praised for its impact and precision. His hat-trick stood out as the highlight of the match. The final displayed Pakistan’s strong bowling attack and team effort. Fans celebrated the decisive victory and outstanding individual performances.

Overall, Muhammad Nawaz’s stellar bowling helped Pakistan dominate Afghanistan comprehensively. The team’s batting and bowling combined to secure a comfortable win. This victory adds another trophy to Pakistan’s cricket achievements. The final demonstrated Pakistan’s readiness and skill in T20 cricket.
