Argentina’s Ambassador Sebastian Sayus announced that Argentina is ready to share expertise in agriculture, livestock, and food security with Pakistan. He spoke at the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), emphasizing the goal to strengthen Pakistan’s production, storage, and food supply chains. Sayus highlighted plans for a pilot project to improve grain storage and reduce post-harvest losses in Pakistan.

LCCI President Faheem-ur-Rehman Saigol welcomed the ambassador and outlined strong trade ties between the two countries. He noted Pakistan’s exports to Argentina include sports goods, textiles, and surgical instruments. Meanwhile, Pakistan imports soya-bean oil, cotton, pharmaceuticals, and seeds from Argentina.
