Rana Sanaullah Says PML-N Follows Politics of Service, Not Hatred

Published on: October 20, 2025 11:55 AM

FAISALABAD: Senior Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) leader Rana Sanaullah said on Monday that his party, under the leadership of Nawaz Sharif, has always pursued the politics of service, not hatred, ARY News reported.

Speaking at a public gathering in Faisalabad, Sanaullah highlighted that during PML-N’s tenure, major national projects were launched, and Pakistan achieved global respect through milestones such as the nuclear tests. “Pakistan became a nuclear power when Nawaz Sharif was prime minister, and the world recognized our strength and dignity,” he said, recalling the six successful nuclear explosions conducted in response to India.

The PML-N leader claimed that 25 years ago, the country had neither load-shedding nor terrorism, but the situation deteriorated after October 12, 1999. He said that when the PML-N returned to power in 2013, it faced challenges of power outages and terrorism, but managed to overcome both. Sanaullah credited the PML-N government with restoring stability, launching the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), and steering Pakistan back toward economic growth.

He accused political rivals of spreading propaganda and false projects to undermine progress. “Those who talk about rigging in 2024 should first explain what happened in 2018,” he remarked, alleging that the 2018 setup was “a project imposed against Pakistan.” Sanaullah added that in 2018, petrol prices were low and inflation was under control, but corruption surged in the following years. “Now, the present government has pulled Pakistan out of crisis,” he said, asserting that Pakistan has regained international respect.

On security, he praised the armed forces for their operations and said Pakistan had sent a clear message to Afghanistan that its soil must not be used for terrorism, warning of decisive retaliation if it happens again. “In one night, Afghanistan received an answer it will remember,” he said, concluding that no one will be allowed to create chaos or instability in Pakistan.
