Pakistan’s longest-running pop culture celebration, the Lux Style Awards, is returning to a live stage this December in Karachi. The 24th edition promises full in-person festivities after years of virtual and disrupted ceremonies. This year also introduces a new category honoring digital content creators.
The LSAs, often called Pakistan’s premier entertainment awards, faced multiple interruptions in recent years. The 2020 ceremony was canceled due to COVID-19, with funds redirected to industry workers. In 2025, heightened India–Pakistan tensions led to a quiet, digital announcement of winners without the usual glamour or red carpet.

This year’s event will “Mirror the Magic” of the LSAs’ two-decade legacy, according to organizers. The ceremony will showcase collaborations, pop culture crossovers, and performances aimed at highlighting Pakistan’s creative spirit. It marks a major effort to reset the awards and re-establish their relevance in the entertainment industry.
The introduction of a digital content creator category reflects the evolving creative economy in Pakistan. Organizers say it acknowledges the growing influence of online storytellers and influencers who shape modern media consumption. Fans can also expect fresh collaborations between traditional artists and digital creators.
