Information secy, DGPR visit business facilitation centre in Lahore

Secretary Information & Culture Punjab Tahir Raza Hamdani and DGPR Sheikh Farid Ahmed visited Business Facilitation Center Lahore. They visited all the counters of the Business Facilitation Center and reviewed working and operational affairs of the center. Deputy Manager Business Facilitation Center Nayab Saleem briefed them about performance of the institution.

Secretary Information & Culture Punjab Syed Tahir Raza Hamdani said that 6 Business Facilitation Centers of Punjab are playing a key role in promoting economic activities in the province. He said that establishment of Business Facilitation Centers removed all obstacles for making investment in various business sectors. He added that 5 federal and 28 provincial departments are providing necessary facilities to investors under one roof. He highlighted that NOCs are being issued to investors at a brisk pace for initiating various business activities. Syed Tahir Raza Hamdani emphasized that so far, issuance of 63,559 NOCs for promoting business activities is welcoming and an investment-friendly step initiated by the Punjab government.

Secretary Information & Culture and DGPR inquired from representatives of various departments about their working mechanism at the counters of Business Facilitation Centers. They were briefed that 70016 applications have been received so far for obtaining NOCs. They were further apprised that 23615 people have been provided counseling facilities in the Business Facilitation Centers and so far 94096 people visited these 6 Business Facilitation Centers.
