Fire at Rabeeca Khan's wedding sparks speculation, negative remarks

KARACHI: Rabeeca Khan’s widely discussed wedding festivities took an unexpected turn when a guest’s car suddenly caught fire outside the venue. The influencer’s celebrations had already been in the spotlight for months due to a long series of high-profile events.

The incident immediately fueled another wave of criticism from viewers who felt the wedding had dragged on for too long. As videos of the burning car circulated online, social media users reacted with mockery and sarcastic comments.

Some joked about whether Rabeeca herself was inside the vehicle, while others predicted that the influencer would convert the entire incident into extended vlogs. A few compared the dramatic visuals to scenes from the popular television drama Meri Zindagi Hai Tu.

As the clip gained traction, the tone of online trolling intensified, with several users suggesting that the fire might have been staged. One social media user wrote, “This is very obviously a publicity stunt,” while another added, “Now there will be a vlog on this as well.”

Another commenter speculated, “She probably set the car on fire herself to come on the news,” reflecting how quickly conspiracy theories emerged. However, others argued that the trolling was unfair, noting that the couple had no control over the mishap.

According to early reports, the car owner claimed the fire was caused by fireworks used during the celebrations. He stated that the vehicle was completely destroyed, though thankfully no one was injured in the incident.

Despite the chaos outside, Rabeeca Khan and Hussain Tareen continued with their elaborate ceremony. The couple had officially tied the knot in June 2025, but their multi-month celebrations have remained a frequent topic of public debate.
