Published on: December 24, 2025 10:15 PM

Islamabad will observe a local holiday on Friday, December 26, coinciding with the UAE president’s visit. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will arrive in the federal capital for high-level meetings. Essential services like hospitals, police, and utility offices will remain operational, the deputy commissioner announced.

The local holiday creates four consecutive days off for residents, as December 25 is already a public holiday. The administration clarified that government offices, CDA, and ICT administration will continue functioning. This ensures that vital services remain uninterrupted while celebrating the distinguished visit.
