Dar discusses ties with FMs of several countries on OIC session sidelines

Deputy Prime Minister/Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar and Saudi Deputy Foreign Minister Waleed bin Abdulkarim Al-Khereiji, on Sunday, discussed further strengthening of Pakistan-Saudi strategic partnership.

The DPM/FM met the Saudi Deputy FM on the sidelines of 22nd extraordinary session of the OIC, in Jeddah, the Foreign Office Spokesperson said. Both sides also reaffirmed close cooperation within the OIC for peace, stability and security in the region.

DPM/FM Ishaq Dar met with Advisor on Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh, Md Touhid Hossain, on sidelines of the Extraordinary Session of the OIC Council of Foreign Ministers meeting. Both dignitaries expressed satisfaction over the robustness of Pakistan-Bangladesh relations. They discussed bilateral relations in diverse fields, especially high-level exchanges, trade, and educational collaboration. They also discussed a range of regional and global issues.

DPM/FM Ishaq Dar and Egyptian Foreign Minister Dr Badr Abdelatty, reviewed Pakistan-Egypt bilateral relations and reaffirmed commitment to expanding cooperation across multiple domains. The DPM/FM met with the Egyptian FM on the sidelines of the 22nd Extraordinary OIC Council of Foreign Ministers (CFM) in Jeddah, Foreign Office spokesperson said. They also exchanged views on Gaza and regional developments, underscoring support for international law and the just cause of the Palestinian people.

DPM/FM Ishaq Dar met with Dr. Abdulla Khaleel, Foreign Minister of the Republic of Maldives, on sidelines of the 22nd OIC Extraordinary Council of Foreign Ministers meeting. The two leaders expressed satisfaction over the friendly and cooperative relations between Pakistan and the Maldives and underscored their shared commitment to further strengthen bilateral ties.
