PM Shehbaz: Civil-military unity will strengthen Pakistan

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that if the government and military continue their partnership, Pakistan will emerge as a strong nation on the world map. He praised Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir for his support in resolving key national issues during a business event in Islamabad.

Addressing exporters and business leaders, the prime minister called the collaboration between the government and armed forces “the best for the country.” He said that after recent victories, Pakistan has earned a unique place globally, with international recognition and growing investment interest.

Shahbaz Sharif also announced a reduction in electricity costs for industries by 4.4 rupees, aiming to boost economic recovery and support industrial growth. He stressed that sustained government-military cooperation would continue to strengthen Pakistan’s economic and strategic position.

He added that Pakistan’s development and rising global stature would surprise neighboring India. He said, “As Pakistan grows stronger, India will be astonished at how powerful the country has become.”

The prime minister emphasized that continued unity between civilian leadership and the military is essential for Pakistan to achieve stability, economic progress, and a strong international standing.
