A vibrant Pakistani Art and Culture Festival has opened in Dubai, bringing together traditional influences and modern creative expressions that reflect the country’s rich identity, craftsmanship, and evolving cultural narratives. The event aims to introduce international audiences to Pakistan’s artistic diversity through carefully curated visual and cultural experiences.
The festival was inaugurated by Hussain Muhammad, Consul General of Pakistan in Dubai, along with Press Counsellor Muhammad Saleh, who praised the organisers for presenting Pakistan’s cultural wealth on a global stage. He described Dubai as an important hub for multicultural interaction, where different cultures meet, engage, and celebrate shared creative values.

Moreover, the Consul General highlighted that Pakistan’s deep-rooted art and heritage play a strong role in soft diplomacy by promoting a positive national image and strengthening people-to-people connections. He reaffirmed the Consulate’s commitment to supporting cultural initiatives that build long-term understanding between Pakistan, the UAE, and the international community.
Speaking for the organisers, Soobika Fawad expressed gratitude for the encouragement and support received from the Pakistani Consulate, noting that such backing motivates artists to represent their culture with greater confidence abroad. She added that the festival reflects a collective effort to take Pakistani art beyond borders and into global conversations.

The event has been organised by Pakistani artists Soobika Fawad, Afsheen Beig, Dr Anum Ali, and Alia Amin, who share a common vision of promoting cultural storytelling through creative platforms. Their collaboration focuses on blending tradition with contemporary ideas while keeping cultural roots at the centre of artistic expression.
In addition to the art exhibition, the festival features cultural vendors offering traditional clothing, jewellery, and handcrafted items, including truck art, pottery, and decorative pieces. Together, these elements create an immersive experience that allows visitors to explore Pakistan’s cultural richness in a modern international setting.
