The discussions focused on pressing regional and global issues, showcasing a spirit of cooperation and friendship. Officials noted that Pakistan’s participation in the Board of Peace highlights its growing diplomatic engagement, particularly in initiatives related to peacebuilding in Gaza, post-conflict reconstruction, and broader global stability efforts.

Addressing the forum, Shehbaz Sharif reiterated Pakistan’s support for Palestinian self-determination. He said the Palestinian people have endured illegal occupation and immense suffering for decades. The prime minister urged the international community to work toward a credible pathway for establishing an independent, sovereign, and indigenous Palestinian state in line with United Nations Security Council resolutions.
