Tapmad secures exclusive digital rights for PSL Season 11 in Pakistan

PSL 2021: PCB signs online streaming deal with Tapmad TV

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s leading digital streaming platform, Tapmad, has secured exclusive Subscription Video-on-Demand (SVOD) rights for Pakistan Super League Season 11 in Pakistan, along with global Video-on-Demand (VOD) rights for PSL highlights and clips.

The rights were obtained through a strategic partnership with Walee, which holds the official media rights for the upcoming season. This collaboration aims to provide millions of cricket fans in Pakistan and abroad with a premium digital viewing experience.

With the SVOD rights, tapmad subscribers will be able to stream PSL 11 matches and related content ad-free and in high-definition quality. The platform’s subscription model eliminates commercial interruptions and ensures smooth streaming across mobile devices, smart TVs, and other digital platforms, reflecting a growing trend toward on-demand sports consumption.

In addition to domestic coverage, tapmad has secured exclusive global VOD rights for PSL highlights and clips. This allows international cricket audiences to access match highlights and key moments from anywhere in the world, significantly expanding the league’s global digital footprint.

Speaking on the development, Yassir Pasha, CEO of tapmad, said the Pakistan Super League remains one of the most popular sporting spectacles in the country. He emphasized that the partnership with Walee will allow fans to enjoy a premium, uninterrupted digital experience in HD quality.

Deputy CEO Zain Pasha added that the agreement underscores tapmad’s commitment to expanding digital sports entertainment, connecting fans worldwide with PSL’s biggest moments and strengthening its sports portfolio.

Over recent years, tapmad has emerged as a leading digital platform in Pakistan, offering live sports, entertainment programming, and on-demand content.
