Sindh governor, CM discuss overall situation of province, relief measures

The Governor of Sindh, Muhammad Nihal Hashmi, met with Sindh Chief Minister (CM) Syed Murad Ali Shah at the Governor’s House here on Saturday.

The CM Syed Murad Ali Shah congratulated the Governor Muhammad Nihal Hashmi on assuming the office. During the meeting, the overall situation of the province and matters of mutual interest were discussed.

The Governor said that provision of relief to the public can be ensured by controlling the prices of food items during the month of Ramazan.

The CM said that measures are being taken to ensure control over prices. Nihal Hashmi thanked the CM for his good wishes.

They also expressed their commitment to continue joint efforts for the development of the province and the welfare of the people.

Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has congratulated the national team on their victory in the second ODI against Bangladesh.

He said that the national players displayed excellent performance and made the entire nation proud.

Murad Ali Shah said that the Pakistan national cricket team delivered highly impressive performances in both bowling and batting. He expressed hope that the national team will continue this winning momentum.

This good news from the cricket field has brought joy to the entire nation, he said adding that the enthusiasm of young players and the strategy of experienced players proved successful.

The Sindh Chief Minister said that there is great passion for cricket in Pakistan and such victories provide more opportunities for talent to flourish.
