Sindh governor stresses joint efforts for sustainable development

Muhammad Shaheryar Memon, Focal Person to the Chairman, Prime Minister’s Youth Program for Overseas Affairs and Business and Trade Linkages, called on Governor Sindh, Nihal Hashmi, at the Governor House Thursday. During the meeting, both sides held a comprehensive discussion on enhancing engagement with overseas Pakistanis and strengthening business and trade linkages, particularly focusing on creating opportunities for youth through international collaboration, said a release issued here. Muhammad Shaheryar Memon highlighted the importance of leveraging the Pakistani diaspora to promote investment, entrepreneurship, and knowledge exchange. He emphasized the need to build structured platforms that connect young entrepreneurs with global markets and facilitate cross-border partnerships. Governor Sindh Nihal Hashmi appreciated the initiatives of the Prime Minister’s Youth Program and underscored the role of youth as a driving force in economic development. He expressed support for policies aimed at strengthening overseas connections and boosting trade and investment inflows into Sindh and across Pakistan. Both sides agreed to enhance coordination between relevant institutions to promote economic diplomacy, facilitate business networking, and create avenues for youth empowerment through global engagement. The meeting concluded with a commitment to continue collaborative efforts for sustainable economic growth and increased participation of overseas Pakistanis in national development.
