According to rescue sources, the incident occurred after heavy overnight rainfall caused flash flooding in seasonal streams. The sudden surge of water engulfed carried it away, trapping those inside. Rescue teams later recovered three bodies from the floodwaters, while the search for a fourth missing person is still underway.

Authorities said the region has been experiencing intense rainfall, leading to dangerous conditions in low-lying areas and along key roads. Overflowing streams and fast-moving water have created serious risks for commuters and residents.

Rescue operations continued for hours, with teams facing difficulties due to strong currents and rough terrain. Officials urged the public to avoid unnecessary travel, especially near flood-prone areas, as more rain is expected in the coming days.

In a separate incident in Dera Ismail Khan, heavy rain caused the roof of a showroom to collapse in the Yousaf Adda area. Rescue officials reported that several vehicles were damaged, and solar panels installed on the roof were also destroyed. However, no casualties were reported in that incident.

The ongoing spell of rain has affected multiple parts of the country, with colder weather reported in northern regions due to snowfall in higher altitudes. Meteorological authorities have warned that unstable weather conditions may persist.

Officials have advised citizens to take precautionary measures and remain cautious, particularly in flood-affected areas, to avoid further loss of life and property.
