Pakistan flag raised globally, says Ahsan Iqbal

Published on: April 20, 2026 6:23 PM

Federal Minister Ahsan Iqbal has said Pakistan’s global standing has improved under the current leadership. He said the country’s flag is being raised internationally due to strong political and military direction. He made the remarks while addressing a ceremony in Narowal.

He criticized the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf, saying it portrayed Pakistan as collapsing and in decline. He added that such narratives damaged national confidence and international perception. He contrasted those claims with what he described as Pakistan’s current progress.
