Published on: May 1, 2026 6:19 AM

80 million liters of diesel

A Pakistani oil tanker carrying 80 million liters of diesel has successfully crossed the Strait of Hormuz. The vessel completed its passage and entered the Gulf of Oman safely. This movement comes amid heightened regional maritime security concerns.

Moreover, reports say the Iranian Revolutionary Guard allowed the tanker to pass through the strait. The permission helped ensure safe navigation for the Pakistani vessel. After crossing, the ship continued its journey toward open waters without any incident.

According to Pakistan National Shipping Corporation sources, the tanker is expected to reach Karachi within two to three days. Officials confirmed that the vessel is fully loaded with diesel cargo intended for domestic supply needs.

In addition, maritime authorities monitored the vessel throughout its route. They ensured compliance with international shipping protocols. The safe passage highlights ongoing coordination in critical sea lanes used for global energy transport.

Finally, officials said the smooth transit reflects improved maritime arrangements in the region. The successful journey of the Pakistani tanker carrying 80 million liters of diesel through the Strait of Hormuz reinforces the importance of secure shipping routes for energy supply chains.
