Iran foreign minister heads to China talks

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi is set to travel to Beijing on Tuesday for high-level talks with Chinese officials. The visit focuses on strengthening bilateral relations and discussing regional and international developments. The move reflects Iran’s continued diplomatic engagement with key global partners.

According to Iran’s Foreign Ministry, the agenda includes discussions on mutual cooperation between Tehran and Beijing. Officials said regional security and broader geopolitical issues will also be addressed. The talks are expected to reinforce strategic ties between the two countries.

The visit is part of Iran’s wider diplomatic outreach to major regional players. Araghchi has recently undertaken visits to Russia, Pakistan, and Oman as part of this effort. These engagements aim to expand political and economic cooperation across key partnerships.

During his earlier trip to Moscow, Araghchi met with President Vladimir Putin and Russian officials. The discussions focused on bilateral relations and regional developments. Iran continues to deepen coordination with Russia on multiple international issues.
