He paid tribute to the Pakistani nation, the armed forces, and the sacrifices of officers and soldiers, stating that collective strength had proven decisive in overcoming challenges. He added that under strong leadership, Pakistan had given a firm and decisive response to what he described as external aggression.

The foreign minister stated that Pakistan exercised its right to self-defence and responded in a measured but effective manner. He claimed that several military targets were successfully engaged, including enemy aircraft, while sending a clear message that Pakistan would never compromise on its sovereignty.

Highlighting diplomatic efforts, Ishaq Dar said Pakistan had effectively presented its position on the global stage through active diplomacy. He noted that despite tensions in the past year, Pakistan exercised restraint while maintaining readiness to respond to any threat.

He further stressed that lasting peace in South Asia is not possible without resolving core disputes, particularly the Kashmir issue, in accordance with United Nations resolutions.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s regional stance, he said the country remains committed to promoting peace but will respond with full force to any threat to national security. He also expressed confidence that Pakistan would continue to strengthen its economy and progress in education and other key sectors.
