The event was attended by a large number of participants from both Pakistani and American communities, with slogans of “Pakistan Zindabad” and “We are Bunyan-un-Marsoos” echoing throughout the venue, reflecting a strong sense of patriotism among attendees.

Speakers at the ceremony paid tribute to the Pakistan Armed Forces, describing them as a strong defensive force that ensured national security and stability during what officials termed a significant national milestone. The Army, Air Force, and Navy were collectively praised for their professionalism and role in safeguarding the country.

Messages from the President and Prime Minister of Pakistan were read aloud during the event, while video messages from senior government officials, including the Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister, highlighted themes of unity, resilience, and national pride. The message of Chief of Defence Forces General Syed Asim Munir was also shared with participants through Defence Attaché Brigadier Irfan Ali.

Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States Rizwan Saeed Sheikh addressed the gathering, stating that Pakistan had demonstrated strategic strength and national cohesion during Marka-e-Haq. He emphasized that Pakistan remained a key regional player where peace and stability were vital for broader global interests.

The ambassador reiterated the importance of unity for national progress and said Pakistan’s founding vision continued to guide its diplomatic and domestic direction. He also highlighted Pakistan’s role in promoting peace and diplomacy in regional matters. The event concluded with poetry recitations and cultural expressions aimed at reinforcing national identity among the diaspora community.
