Ajoka Theatre kids summer camp ‘Art of Acting — Kids Edition’ to begin on Saturday

Published on: June 3, 2026 4:02 AM

Ajoka Theatre’s annual kids summer camp, “Art of Acting — Kids Edition,” is set to begin on Saturday.

Now a regular part of Ajoka Theatre’s annual calendar for several years, the programme offers children a creative space to explore theatre, build confidence and strengthen communication skills through performing arts.

Over the years, the camp has helped children overcome shyness, discover self-expression and grow in confidence, often surprising families with their transformation both on and off stage.

The program is designed to nurture self-belief in children, encouraging them to embrace the thought: “I can do this.”

This year’s edition features 18 interactive sessions, focusing on confidence-building, empathy and communication skills. The camp will culminate in a public performance, showcasing short plays, dance, speeches and stand-up comedy.

Speaking on the occasion, Nirvaan Nadeem, Director Ajoka Institute, said, “Art of Acting – Kids Edition is a journey of self-discovery. At Ajoka, we believe every child has a voice waiting to be expressed. Through theatre, children develop confidence, empathy and communication skills that stay with them for life. Seeing this transformation is deeply rewarding.”

The initiative reflects Ajoka Theatre’s continued commitment to arts-based learning and creative development for children. Registration forms are available at the Ajoka Theatre office for parents interested in enrolling their children.
