Hajj 2027 registration to open soon for Pakistani pilgrims

Published on: June 11, 2026 2:41 PM

Hajj 2027 Registration to Open Soon for Pakistanis » LCCI

Pakistan has started preparations for Hajj 2027, with the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony announcing that the registration process for intending pilgrims will begin soon.

According to the ministry, early registration is being initiated in line with the latest directives issued by Saudi authorities. The move aims to ensure timely completion of the registration process and facilitate better planning for Hajj arrangements.

Officials stated that all Pakistani citizens interested in performing Hajj in 2027 will be required to complete the registration process once it officially opens. A key requirement for registration is a valid passport with an expiry date extending at least until November 16, 2027. The ministry advised prospective pilgrims to renew their passports in advance if their travel documents do not meet the required validity period.

The ministry further clarified that individuals who register for Hajj 2027 will have the option to participate through either the government-sponsored Hajj scheme or a private Hajj operator. This flexibility is intended to provide pilgrims with a wider range of choices based on their preferences and financial considerations.

In addition, overseas Pakistanis will also be eligible to register for Hajj 2027. Authorities said the registration process will remain open to Pakistani citizens residing abroad, enabling them to benefit from future Hajj arrangements announced under the national policy.

Importantly, the ministry confirmed that no registration fee has been fixed for Hajj 2027. However, the final Hajj package costs, payment schedules, quota details and other terms and conditions will be announced later under the Hajj Policy 2027.

The ministry urged intending pilgrims to stay updated through official announcements and prepare the necessary travel documents in advance. Early registration, officials noted, will help streamline arrangements and ensure smoother management of Hajj operations for the upcoming pilgrimage season.
