Interior Ministry projects get Rs 21.8 billion

The federal government has allocated Rs 21,824.900 million under the Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) for the ongoing and new schemes of the Ministry of Interior during the fiscal year 2026-27.

According to the budget document issued here on Friday, around Rs. 15,799.900 million has been earmarked for the twenty two ongoing schemes and Rs. 6,025.000 million for nine new schemes included in fiscal year 2026-27.

Nine new schemes include construction of accommodation of Headquarters FC Balochistan (West), Establishment of FC Headquarter at Sector H-11, Islamabad, Acquisition of Land and Hiring of Consultancy Firms for Feasibility Study for Establishment of Special Protection Unit (SPU) in ICT Police, Islamabad, Construction of 3 x Wings and 19 x BOPs FC Balochistan North, Construction of 2 x Wings and 10 x BOPs and Construction of 120 Bedded Hospital at Turbat FC Blochistan South, Construction of accommodation for 5 x Wing Headquarters at Khawaja Khel, Bagh Maidan, Shin Qamar, Khyber Tribal District and Had Ambar/ Khapakh Mohmand Tribal District. Construction of 20 x Border Out Posts for enhancement of Security and Border Management (FC KP North), Construction of 5x Wing Headquarters and 20 BOPs (FC KP South), Raising of 5 x new Wings – Construction of Wing Headquarters & Accommodation (4 x Wings – FC Balochistan North and 1 x Wing FC Balochistan South) and Margalla Avenue Link Road to M-1 in the fiscal year 2026-27. The ongoing schemes include up-gradation of biometric identification system for Passport Application. I & P, HQs Islamabad (revised), Construction of Model Prison at H-16, Islamabad, Integrated Border Management System (IBMS Phase-ll), Expansion of Safe City Islamabad, Land Revenue Records Management System in Rural Area of ICT Phase-ll, Islamabad, Provision and Installation of Lift at ICT Agriculture Complex G-11/4 ISL, Rehabilitation of Rural Roads in U.C Golra Sharif Shah Allah Ditta and Sare -e- Kharbooza, Provision of Drinking Water facilities in 16 U.Cs of Rural area of ICT, Islamabad, Rehabilitation / Up-Gradation of Internal Roads in 16 U.Cs of Rural Area in ICT Islamabad, Structural Rehabilitation and Up-Gradation of infrastructure of Fruit and Vegetable Whole Sale Market I-11/4, Productivity Enhancement through the Installation of Solar-Powered High-Efficiency Irrigation Systems in ICT, Sewerage System at Bani Gala, Construction of Revenue Centers at Tarnol and Sihala ICT, ISL, Digital Economy Enhancement Project (Component-III-NADRA), Construction of Office and troops accommodation BOQs with Quarter guards at FCON HQ Peshawar, Construction of Building for 13 Regional Passport Offices in Sindh Province, Foreign National Security and Allied Facilities (revised), Construction of Three (03) Sewage Treatment Plants and Related Sewerage System to Treat the Waste Water Falling into Korang River, Rawal Lake and their Area of ICT (Phase-I) (Revised), Construction of Additional Family Suits for the Members of Parliament including 500 Servant Quarters at G-5/2, Islamabad, Establishment of Change management unit within ICT Police Islamabad, National Police Hospital, Islamabad, International Standard Purpose Build Conventional Forensics Facilities for NFA.
