The Punjab Central Business District Development Authority (PCBDDA), also known as Central Business District Punjab (CBD Punjab), has officially announced the launch of CBD Potohar, a landmark initiative marking a new chapter in Punjab’s journey toward future-ready and investment-driven urban development. Strategically located on the rich land of Potohar, CBD Potohar is envisioned as a new economic and lifestyle hub where people can live, work, grow, and play in a modern, connected, and sustainable environment designed for the future.

Developed under the vision of the Government of Punjab and under the leadership of the Chief Minister of Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, the project reflects a strong commitment to building new-age urban centers that are ready for tomorrow and aligned with global standards of development. It embodies trust, transparency, and a continued focus on delivering progress at scale.

Following its transformative success in Lahore, CBD Punjab is taking its vision of future-ready development beyond the provincial capital of Punjab. Landmark initiatives including the transformation of CBD Quaid District, the development of CBD Bab District and Pakistan’s first and largest IT city, CBD NSIT City, stand as testaments to the authority’s commitment to innovation, timely delivery and sustainable growth. These achievements have not only strengthened investor confidence but have also positioned CBD Punjab as a leading force driving economic transformation and shaping the urban future of Pakistan.

CBD Potohar brings together a comprehensive vision of modern urban living featuring smart infrastructure, mixed-use developments, sustainable mobility systems, environmentally responsible planning, and future-focused commercial zones. The project is designed to foster innovation, enable emerging industries, and create long-term economic value. Its strategic location enhances its significance as a high-potential growth corridor, unlocking new opportunities for investment, connectivity, and commerce. CBD Potohar is positioned to become a catalyst for economic expansion while strengthening Pakistan’s evolving urban landscape.

Expressing his views on the expansion, Chief Executive Officer CBD Punjab, Imran Amin said CBD Punjab was established with a vision to place Pakistan on the global economic map through modern infrastructure and investment-led development. Our journey in Lahore has demonstrated that with trust, transparency, and timely delivery, transformative progress is achievable. CBD Potohar represents the next phase of this journey a future-ready development that reflects our long-term commitment to growth and innovation.”

He further added CBD Potohar is more than a development project; it is a vision for the future. It is a place where people can live, work, grow, and play in an environment built for opportunity, sustainability, and innovation.
