President Asif Ali Zardari on Friday extended felicitations to the President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksandr Lukashenko and the people of Belarus on their Independence Day.
The president, in a message, said that the historic day, commemorating the liberation of Minsk from Nazi occupation, symbolised the courage, resilience, and steadfast determination of the Belarusian people in their quest for freedom and sovereignty.
He noted that the Day served as a proud reminder of the remarkable journey of Belarus towards peace, stability, and national unity.
President Zardari said that Pakistan deeply valued the cordial, cooperative relations between the two countries, which were rooted in mutual trust and shared aspirations for progress.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to further enhancing bilateral ties across various fields for the mutual benefit of both nations.
