Govt raises kerosene price by Rs 11.19 per litre

The government has increased the price of kerosene by Rs11.19 per litre, days after revising the prices of petrol and high-speed diesel. According to a notification, the price of kerosene has been raised to Rs242.33 per litre, up from the previous rate of Rs231.14 per litre. The latest increase is expected to add to the financial burden on consumers who rely on kerosene for household and other daily needs. The revised price has come into effect following the issuance of the official notification.
