Four Kuwaiti Sailors Injured in Iranian Attack on Naval Ship

Published on: July 15, 2026 3:44 AM

Iran Attack

Kuwait’s military has confirmed that four sailors were injured after an Iranian attack targeted a Kuwaiti naval ship on Tuesday. The Iran Attack on Kuwaiti Naval Ship also involved missiles and drones aimed at key military and civilian facilities, according to an official military statement.

The Kuwaiti military said the injured personnel received immediate medical treatment, and all four are in stable condition. Officials confirmed that the naval vessel was struck during the attack, but no fatalities were reported.

According to the military, Kuwait’s armed forces successfully intercepted one ballistic missile, four cruise missiles, and 33 drones launched during the attack. The incoming weapons were reportedly intended to hit important military and civilian locations across the country.

The military added that debris from the intercepted missiles and drones caused material damage in different areas. Authorities are continuing to assess the extent of the damage while maintaining heightened security measures.

Earlier, Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps claimed responsibility for targeting enemy weapons storage sites in Bahrain and Kuwait, including a drone launch pad at Kuwait’s Ali Al Salem Air Base. The group said the strikes were carried out in response to US attacks on Iran. The Iran Attack on Kuwaiti Naval Ship has further increased tensions in the Gulf and raised concerns about regional security.
